Bigg Boss OTT Contestant Payal Malik Announces Split from Armaan Malik Amid Polygamy Backlash; Says, “The Hate Is Affecting My Kids”

Ever since the Maliks entered the Bigg Boss OTT house, they have faced extensive criticism both inside and outside the show. Many celebrities have taken to social media to express their disapproval, accusing the reality show of promoting polygamy due to influencer and YouTuber Armaan Malik being married to two women, Payal and Krithika. This criticism has spilled over onto social media platforms, with numerous netizens calling out the two women for their involvement in this unconventional marriage. In light of the backlash, Payal, who was eliminated from the show a few days ago, has publicly announced her decision to part ways with Armaan. In a recent vlog shared on Friday, Payal explained that the constant criticism she has received was the primary reason behind her separation from Armaan.
She stated that she no longer wants her children to be affected by the online hatred they have been subjected to. “I am done with the drama and the hate. I could handle it when it was directed towards me, but now it is reaching my kids. This is shocking and disgusting. I have decided to separate from Armaan for this reason. He can stay with Krithika while I take care of the children,” Payal conveyed to her followers. While Payal acknowledged that they have faced trolling in the past, she emphasized that she cannot continue subjecting their children to the negativity. She suggested that Armaan could continue living with Krithika, saying, “I know Golu won’t be able to stay without Zaid, so perhaps she can keep him, and I will leave with my three kids. People are unhappy with the polygamous relationship, and I can no longer tolerate the hate. It is extremely frustrating.
Either all three of us separate, or two of us separate, or I walk away. It can only end in one of these ways. They don’t know what is happening outside. I am fully aware of the situation. I have never experienced so much hate, trolling, and abuse in my life. My decision is final. We cannot subject our children to this. What parent can afford to do that?”About Payal MalikPayal and Armaan Malik got married in 2011 in a traditional ceremony, which was also attended by Krithika, Payal’s best friend. However, seven years later, Armaan tied the knot with Krithika, leaving Payal heartbroken. After a separation of 1.5 years, Payal decided to reunite with Armaan and Krithika. The trio has four children together – Chirayu, Zaid, Ayaan, and Tuba.
