Bhuvan Bam starrer ‘Taaza Khabar’ trailer out, conveys a strong message in a lighthearted comedy
Bhuvan Bam, an Indian comedian-writer who was also seen in TVF’s Bachelors, is all set to star in a Disney Plus series on Hotstar titled ‘Taaza Khabar.’ In this series, you will see him playing a sanitation worker and depicting the hardships faced by the poor with his witty sense of humour. It is a comedy-drama with a very serious topic in discussion. How he brings out the strong message through his playful act is worth watching. This is what forms the unique selling point of this upcoming series.
This series was produced by Bam’s home production company, BBKV Productions, and the trailer is now available. However, you won’t have much to know from the trailer and will have to wait for its release.

The 49-second trailer starts with Bam discussing what his mother asked him to do as a man. He should have a house, a horse, and a wife. However, his character does something that contradicts his mother’s teachings. This trailer was filmed in the slum areas of Mumbai, where Bam’s character is a sanitation worker. His enmity with local goons and love affair with Shriya Pilgaonkar, who plays the character of a sex worker, is seen in the short video.

Earlier, it was disclosed that the lead character, Vasya, has some specific powers that ease his social status. Bam has said that his character has magical protection that miraculously directs him toward his life goals. He also said that the audience will get to watch a combination of action, emotion, and comedy, which will highly entertain them.
This comedy-drama is being made under Himank Gaur’s direction. It’s his second project with Bhuvan Bam after Dhindhora was released in 2021. Besides Bhuvan Bam, it also stars actors like J.D. Chakravarthy of Ek Villain Returns, Deven Bhojani, seen in Agneepath, and Prathamensh Parab.
Taaza Khabar will start streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar on January 6, 2023.
