On the platform of the Radio Udaan convention 2025 in Panchkula, Haryana, she has created history where Radio Udaan Heart’s ‘Purple Fashion Show’ celebrates inclusivity and confidence. The ‘Purple Runway of Dreams’ was a transformative event that challenged social perceptions; this beauty pageant-cum-fashion show provided visually impaired participants with an opportunity to showcase their talent, unique styles, and personalities on the ramp. She choreographed the fashion show specifically for people with disabilities. And that show has created history.
This is India’s first solo fashion show specifically designed for visually impaired people. Here, participants walk down the ramp without any scouts present. She said that it was a very difficult task to train the participants in such a short time, but all the participants were very energetic and enthusiastic. This instilled a great deal of strength within me. She also stated that she is highly impressed by the spirit of the team of Radio Udaan, especially Danish Mahajan, who has recently received the Nation award on the 3rd of Dec 2024. Radio Udaan gave a platform to people with disabilities and proved that they have the ability to do anything beyond the limits. This convention celebrated diversity, empowerment, and the redefinition of beauty standards.
