The Magnum Opus of SS Rajamouli called Bahubali – the Beginning has finally hit the theatres. As per reports, the film has got the best opening as expected and thus have broke the record of the collection worldwide. The film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in the pivotal roles is an epic drama has been making headlines in the media. The promotion of the film has been strong and considering the rich content and good use of VFX effects, the film was able to garner a very good response over the media.
The film with high budget tolling to around 250 crores, has its release worldwide in around 17 different languages. The reports have even suggested that there was a huge queue in several cities at the south to catch the film. The movie has been released in around 4000 screens in India and all across the world. This high figure is a record for any South Indian film to have that huge number of screens. The tickets for the first day has been sold at all the places in the south giving a very good opening to the film.
Not only the evening shows were packed, even the shows in the morning had the same story, wherein jam packed theatres were witnessed at most of the part of the country giving the film a very good opening. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Bahubali – The Beginning tolled to around 25 crores, which is indeed a big figure. The figure is likely to escalate in the coming two days as well. This means, the film has the potential to enter into the 100 crore club in its first weekend only.
