Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha 1st Weekend Box Office Collection: Ajay Devgn-Tabu Film Struggles, Surpasses ₹6 Crore in India

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has experienced a sluggish start at the box office, with its performance failing to improve over the first three days. According to the latest report from Sacnilk.com, the film, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, has garnered a total of ₹6.75 crore since its release. The film faced competition from Ulajh at the box office, which may have impacted its earnings.
On its opening day, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha collected ₹1.85 crore, followed by a slight increase on day two, bringing in ₹2.15 crore. The third day saw the film earning ₹2.75 crore, totaling ₹6.75 crore after three days of release. The occupancy rates indicate a modest interest, with a Hindi occupancy of 13.42 percent on Saturday.
Morning shows recorded an occupancy of 6.12 percent, while afternoon shows improved to 15.21 percent. Evening shows saw a further increase to 18.19 percent, and night shows experienced a slight dip, closing at 14.17 percent.Originally scheduled for release on July 5, the film was postponed due to the box office success of Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD.
The narrative spans a timeline of 20 years, set between 2002 and 2023, with Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar portraying the younger versions of Ajay and Tabu’s characters.A review from the Hindustan Times commented, “Some trimming would have made this a good watch. Alas, Neeraj Panday, who also receives writing credit, gets carried away. The film’s last shot says, ‘Sometimes, it never ends…’ Exactly what I felt about the film at one point.” As the film continues its run, audiences will be keen to see if it can recover from its slow start.
The film has gained a decent review, while the trade pundit – Taran Adarsh was quick to share his views on the movie, have a look at his tweet as under:
