It’s a wrap for Anushka Sharma starrer Chakda Xpress & this is how the actress celebrated!
Anushka Sharma needs to rejoice as the actress has finally finished filming for her upcoming sports drama, Chakda Xpress. The actress dropped some candid clicks of her last day from the sets to inform her fans and followers that ‘it’s a wrap’.
Well, the blue informed women on the film set were accompanied by former Indian cricketer, Jhulan Goswami, the lady who is the inspiration for this upcoming flick. The cricketer along with the film’s team had a final applause as they were all set to conclude the shoot.Â
Some images from the sets have gone viral where you can see Anushka and Jhulan with director Prsosit Roy cutting a three-tier cake. Â

Aushka Sharma began shooting for Chakda Xpress in June 2022 and now after almost 6 months she has confirmed the wrap up. Well, it wasn’t easy for the actress to fir into the character of a former Indian cricket captain Jhulan Goswanii. The NH10 actress was trained by smiled professionals to match the character.
While talking about the film Anushka Sharma staled in her IG post:Â
It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket. (sic).”
This biographical movie has been planned to release on OTT in 2023. However, no exact date has been announced yet. Â
