Amitabh Bachchan writes Alia Bhatt a handwritten note praising her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi
Alia Bhatt‘s most recent film was Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. With her outstanding portrayal as Gangubai in the film, the actress was able to capture hearts. She received a lot of appreciation for her courageous and bold performance in the SLB film. Alia Bhatt took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo of herself receiving a letter of thanks for her role in Gangubai Kathiawadi from superstar Amitabh Bachchan. The actress proudly displays the letter from Big B.
In a series of selfies, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress provided a glimpse into her life from January to April. Bhatt took the first photo, which is a sunkissed selfie. Alia is photographed in a night costume in the second photo in the series. She’s posing for the camera while holding a handwritten message from Amitabh Bachchan. “Jan – April ISL (In Selfie Life) (sic),” the actress captioned the photographs.
In the note, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Alia, you are beyond magnificent in Gangubai. I am short of words to express anymore! My love as ever, Amitabh Bachchan (sic).”

Meanwhile, the third image in the series shows Alia Bhatt snapping a selfie during the filming of Brahmastra’s song Kesariya. The final image is a selfie taken by Bhatt while on vacation. While soaking in the cool pool water, the actress poses for a lovely selfie in a white monokini.
In the film Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji, Alia is poised to share screen space for the first time with superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Alia’s husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, has a pivotal role in Brahmastra. The film will be released in September of 2022.
Darlings, a film starring Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma, is also in the works for the actress. She will also star in Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif’s’s Jee Le Zaraa.
