Ranveer Singh’s sports drama 83 is all set to make its big screen entry. Directed by Kabir Khan the film arrives in Christmas 2021. Ranveer took to his social media on Sunday to announce the film’s release date of his much awaited film.
He posted a team photo.”It’s time..83 IN CINEMAS THIS CHRISTMAS. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. #ThisIs83,” Ranveer captioned the team photo.
83 was supposed to be released in mid-2020. Starring Ranveer Singh as legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, the film was postponed twice before being kept on hold till the re-opening of cinema halls.
All the theatres are due to reopen a few weeks before Diwali on October 22nd and given that Maharashtra makes significant contributions from income to Bollywood, it has been a good choice for all.
The other part of the star casting is also great, portraying various actors of the team that created history in Lord’s on June 25, 1983. On June 26, the film stars Deepaika Padukone. Pankaj Tripathi, renowned player, also takes the part of Team Manager for the film. The film also stars Hardy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiva, Ammy Virk, Saqib Saleem. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
