As today being Gudi Padwa, it is a big day for states like Maharasthra where this day begins the start of the Marathi Year in the country. Hence B Town often has special plans for this day, but with COVID 19 scare, films like Sooryavanshi have been pushed forward, while other films too were seen getting hampered. However, amidst all the mess and the 21 days lockdown period, Shraddha chose to wish her fans and friends Happy Gudi Padwa.
The actress’s mother and her aunty Padmini Kolhapuri are Maharashtrian, hence she had a good taste and touch with Marathi culture. She always celebrates this big day amidst all the buzz and fuss and this time despite being locked down, she was seen in her traditional dress and shared her greetings for her fans on this big day. Earlier, in one of her interviews with the local newspaper, she said it is sad that the state is locked down amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, but she being a positive person takes things in that way. She called this phase as the blessing in disguise as she gets quality time to spend with her family. She further said that she was looking for a break and this came to her. She added that she and her family would take up the government’s directives and stay at home.
