Akshay Kumar’s Convoy Involved in Chain Collision in Juhu; Couple Unhurt

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna were involved in a multi-vehicle chain collision in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Monday evening. Thankfully, both emerged unhurt and reportedly helped others at the scene, according to local reports.

The accident took place as the couple was returning to their Juhu home from the airport after celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary abroad. Near the Silver Beach Café area, a series of events involving three vehicles triggered the collision.

Eyewitnesses described how a speeding Mercedes first hit an auto-rickshaw, pushing it into one of the vehicles in Kumar’s security convoy. This vehicle then crashed into the actor’s SUV, causing notable damage to the auto-rickshaw. Akshay and Twinkle were traveling in a separate car ahead of the convoy and escaped the incident without serious injuries.

However, the crash caused alarm among bystanders, with several locals and security personnel rushing to assist. Police and emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene. The auto-rickshaw driver and passenger were hospitalized, with the driver reportedly in serious condition.

Juhu police have filed a case of rash and negligent driving against the Mercedes driver, and an investigation is currently ongoing. This incident comes during a busy phase for Akshay Kumar, who has multiple films lined up for release.
