After bagging 13 awards for her last year film Gully Boy, the filmmaker Zoya Akhtar is on cloud 9. With her brilliant movie getting the best director, film, best actor male and female to name a few, she has given some of the best movies in B Town. Some of these include films like Dil Dhadakne Do, and anthologies like Lust Stories come to her credit. Now, as she talks about her next venture, she is willing to do yet another film with her brother Farhan Akhtar, which will be a gangster drama.
When asked why is she intends to venture into this genre, she said that she is choosy when it comes to doing films and hence done 1 in one or two years. She said that she is never in a hurry of making one film to the other but waits for the right script to her next. Now, she intends to do a gangster film with Farhan Akhtar but she is not in a hurry. She was clear on the rat race that is evident in our Industry. Further talking about it she said she took long to make her next film once she gave her maiden film to B Town.
She said that once she made two back to back two films that made her exhausted a lot. This made her take a break in every film she does. Also, she said the reason why she took a long gap was that she was dating one Spanish man who was based in the UK. So, most of the time, she used to remain away in Europe with her man. She called it to be a break that she took for her after working hard for two films back to back. Zoya called the gangster genre to be her favorite hence wants to do the film of that kind. She is just waiting for the right script.
