The Shah Rukh Khan thriller movie Fan has failed to get the magic figure of 100 crores at the box office. The film is still struggling with a collection reaching to around 84.17 crores. And talking about the 4th weekend of the film, it only managed to get 7 lakhs, which is indeed a great disappointment at the box office. Although the film has gained good moolah over the overseas markets, but has failed to garner the response it was looking for. Fan has shown SRK in double role – a Fan and the superstar.
In total, the collection gone beyond 150 crores, which is actually a decent figure, but the real worry rolls down over the local market, which was seen getting affected with the film Jungle Book. Despite being released earlier than Fan, the film continued to dominate Fan in a big way. Also, Baaghi, which was released a week before has managed to go with a steady start giving 50 plus figures over the box office. The film directed by Maneesh Sharma has Sayani Gupta and Shriya Pilgaonkar in the supporting role.
