Salman Khan Mulls Reclaiming His Traditional Eid Slot with Battle of Galwan; Potential Clash with Toxic and Dhamaal 4

Salman Khan’s highly anticipated 2026 film Battle of Galwan—showcasing the superstar in a never-before-seen avatar—is nearing the end of its shoot, though the release date remains unannounced. Earlier reports suggested a June release, but Bollywood Hungama now reveals that Salman is considering a return to his signature Eid release slot.

A source shared, “Salman Khan and Eid have long been synonymous. Initially, he decided against releasing Battle of Galwan on Eid (March 19, 2026) because that date was already claimed by Toxic, starring KGF’s Yash, and the multi-starrer Dhamaal 4.

However, Salman is now seriously contemplating whether his war drama can premiere during the holy festival.” The source added, “With shooting expected to wrap by December, the film should be ready by March. Fans would be thrilled if Battle of Galwan releases on Eid, so Salman is giving this option strong consideration and plans to finalize the decision soon.”

Also uncertain is whether Toxic or Dhamaal 4 will adjust their schedules if Salman reclaims the Eid slot. If Battle of Galwan does release on March 19, 2026, it will mark Salman Khan’s 17th Eid release, following hits like Judwaa (1997), Wanted (2009), Dabangg (2010), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Sultan (2016), Radhe (2021), Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023), and Sikandar (2025).
