Last week, there was a solo release in the form of a sequel called Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, which had received a very good opening from the very first day tolling to weekend and even crossing to the week days. The film managed to do better till Wednesday though it slipped the other day on Thursday for the obvious reason, yes, you guessed it right – Shandaar, which stormed with a good start considering the holiday of Dusshera. So, at the end of the first week, the sequel had a good story to tell the audience in terms of box office collection.
The As per reports, the first week box office collection for Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 tolled to around 37 crores, which is much better the previous released and hyped movies like Jazbaa. The other film released the very same day called Wedding Pullav, which proved out to be a big disaster. Though the collection with the advent of Shandaar seemed to be hampering yet, it will manage to grow strategically even crossing the figure of 50 crores after the end of the second weekend. So, a big moment for the director Luv Ranjan to see his film doing good business.
