HanuMan vs. Guntur Kaaram: Box Office Performance on Day 10 Worldwide – Teja Sajja’s Film Triumphs Over Mahesh Babu Starrer, Poised to Enter the 200 Crore Club Today!

Teja Sajja’s HanuMan emerged as an unexpected winner in a high-stakes battle against Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram. The saying “content is king” proved true as the superhero flick surpassed the Mahesh Babu starrer at the worldwide box office, solidifying its dominance in India.

Both films clashed before the Sankranti festival, with Mahesh Babu’s star power giving his film an initial advantage in terms of momentum and screen count. However, negative reviews and mixed word-of-mouth affected its performance from the second day onwards. As soon as the Sankranti holidays concluded, Guntur Kaaram witnessed a significant decline, paving the way for HanuMan to take complete control.

In recent updates, HanuMan concluded its second weekend on a strong note, raking in an estimated 16.80 crores on its tenth day. This brings its total Indian box office collection to an impressive 130.20 crores. The film saw another decent jump compared to the second Saturday’s collection of 14.50 crores, resulting in a gross collection of 153.63 crores.

HanuMan has also amassed an impressive 43 crores gross in the overseas market. Consequently, its worldwide box office collection after ten days stands at 196.63 crores gross, with entry into the coveted 200 crore club anticipated today. The film’s remarkable success serves as a case study for filmmakers aspiring to create visually appealing films on a limited budget.

On the other hand, Guntur Kaaram, despite being a typical masala entertainer, failed to meet expectations despite the advantage of the Sankranti festival. Its ten-day collection at the Indian box office amounts to only 117.80 crores (estimated), equivalent to 139 crores in gross earnings.

Guntur Kaaram also struggled in the overseas market, earning a mere 31 crores gross. Overall, its global collection after ten days stands at 170 crores gross. Reaching the 200 crore milestone from this point forward will prove challenging for the film. Stay tuned for more on only with us.
