Namrata Thapa is a B Town actress who hails from Bengali movies. She was born and brought up in Delhi from where she did her schooling and college doing her graduation from Delhi University. She was born on 9th of August 1986 in Delhi. After doing her graduation, as she was involved in a number of theatre activities and regional stuff, she headed to Mumbai to pursue her dreams to become an actress. Though she intended to do films, she got landed up in TV shows with a bit of struggle.
She did a couple of shows like Stree, Teri Kahaani, Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Keli, and Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga to name a few. In fact, she started her work with the TV show at Star Play called Koi Hai while before entering to this; she had tried modeling in Delhi at the age of 18 and also continued when she had shifted to Mumbai. Some of her tV shows include Naaginn..Wadon ki Agnipariksha, Kahiin To Hoga, Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye, Mera Naam Karegi Roshan, Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan, and Tum Aise Hi Rehna to name a few.
Her memorable performance was seen in Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. She also played in a number of regional movies as well, which include Odiya, Bengali and Bhojppuri to name a few. Her Odiya film called 143 was a big hit in the media. She was also seen in B Town movies, which include I Love You, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo (as NGO manager), Ganja Ladhei, Knock, Abhimanyu (guest appearance) and Golmaal as Khushi to name a few.
