The popular production company Select Media Holdings LLP is back with the announcement making 155 Hours after they had picked up a similar venture called Bhuj: The Pride of India, which is a film based on Indo-Pak war. The film 155 Hours deals with the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The film deals with the story of an army leader and the way he has led the team in the war. It is a story inspired by Captain Karam Singh Virk and Hawaldar Baldev Singh and the way they acted for the country with commitment.
In other words, the film has a story of courage and perseverance. It also talks about the story of a young commando soldier hailing from the Sikh Regiment called Baldev Singh who remains stranded in the jungles of Pakistan and gets some bullet injuries on his arm and legs. He survives with the help of his co-soldier called Baldev Singh for 155 hours without water and food. The star cast of the film is yet to be announced but the makers have roped in Vinod Kapri as its director. The film has Ginny Khanuja and Vajir Singh as producers.
