Shilpa Shinde, a talented TV actress, gained fame with her iconic role in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. Her impressive performances captivated audiences, but behind the screens, she faced a traumatic experience.
During her early days in the industry, Shilpa was subjected to a shocking demand. “I was asked to wear revealing clothes and perform a seductive scene,” she revealed.
The filmmaker, who was also an actor, tried to exploit her vulnerability. Shilpa shared, “He told me to wear specific clothes and perform the scene in a way that made me feel trapped.”
Despite her discomfort, Shilpa tried to navigate the situation. “I was very innocent then, so I did the scene,” she said. However, the filmmaker’s intentions were far from professional.
He tried to force himself on her, but Shilpa bravely pushed him away and escaped. “I got so scared, and the security staff realized what had happened and asked me to leave immediately,” she recounted.
Shilpa chose not to reveal the perpetrator’s name, considering his family’s well-being. “He’s from the Hindi film industry, and I agreed to work with him because he was also an actor,” she said.
Years later, Shilpa met the filmmaker again, and he offered her a film role without recognizing her. “I refused, and he still doesn’t remember me,” she added, highlighting the perpetrator’s lack of accountability.
