Kabir Khan Praises Kartik Aaryan’s Natural Physical Transformation for Chandu Champion
Actor Kartik Aaryan’s remarkable physical transformation for his role in the upcoming film Chandu Champion has created a buzz on social media, leaving people in awe of his new physique. Director Kabir Khan is among those who have praised the actor for undertaking this challenge without the use of substances or steroids. Over the course of one and a half years, Kartik managed to reduce his body fat from 39% to an impressive 7% by quitting sugar and following a strict diet. During the trailer launch of the film in Gwalior, Kabir proudly expressed, “Nowadays, those who go to gyms know how much steroids get misused. Kartik built his body naturally, without any substance.
The benefit of this is that this body will remain with him throughout his life. It is healthy.” He also highlighted how Kartik’s fit and healthy physique shines on the screen, and commended the actor’s dedication to sticking to the regime, even when his favorite dishes were taken away. Chandu Champion tells the story of a sportsman’s resilience and determination, drawing inspiration from the life of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist in freestyle swimming. Kartik portrays the life of Murlikant in this film, showcasing his journey. Kabir further revealed that Kartik was the obvious choice for the role of Chandu Champion, as he possessed a boyish charm and an innate connection to the soil.

Working with Kartik was a delight, as he displayed unwavering dedication and honesty throughout the filming process. The film is jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, and Sajid was also present at the event. After watching the trailer, he expressed his overwhelming emotions, stating, “I had tears in my eyes when I saw the film, and even now, I feel so overwhelmed looking at how the film has turned out. I’ve been making films for the past three decades, and it’s films like these that keep us all going. I’m sure the audience will love the story, especially Kartik’s stellar performance.” Chandu Champion is set to release on the big screen on June 14, promising an inspiring and captivating cinematic experience.
