Brahmastra: MP minister refuses to the allegations of denying Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor to enter Mahakaleshwar temple
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt recently skipped their visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain due to an alleged protest outside the holy place to prevent them from offering prayers. According to reports, Bajrang Dal activists protested outside the temple following Ranbir Kapoor’s 11-year-old remark about the beef issue.
According to reports, the activists displayed black flags as a sign of opposition to the movie Brahmastra. Let us inform you that #BoycottBrahmastra is the hashtag being used by supporters of the Bajrang Dal in their social media campaign.
On the other hand, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra denied all of the allegations. He went on to say that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt chose to skip their visit despite being told by cops to go ahead and pray.
During an interview with the media, Narottam Mishra stated, “No one stopped them from offering prayers, they decided on their own not to go there. The Ujjain administration has briefed me about the entire episode. The couple was requested by the administration to go ahead to offer prayers. There was adequate security, but they decided to not go there. No one stopped them.”
