Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt face protest on their visit to Ujjain temple ahead of Brahmastra release

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and director Ayan Mukherji are leaving no stone unturned to make their upcoming release a grand success. From prayers to promotion, they have put all their heart into it.

Ranbir, Alia, and Ayan visited Ujjain to seek blessings at the Great Mahabaleshwar Temple. However, they had no idea they would have an encounter with protestors who were determined to stop their movie from being released.

The protestors reached the temple with a black flag to create disruption. Luckily, the local police handled the situation and brought everything under control. This all happened when the trio informed fans of their visit on social media. Look at one of the viral videos of a protest against the movie on Twitter.

Now the question is whether Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji could visit the temple or not. It has been reported that the protestors fought with police personnel to restrict Alia and Ranbir’s entry inside the temple. It’s just Ayan who was allowed to enter the temple, and he was also seen taking the blessings from lord Shiva.

This is definitely because of the negativity around the film spreading on social media which has now come to ground level. An obstacle from the negative aspects is not good especially when the film is close to its release. We all know that it took decades to make this mythological drama and it carries a lot of effort from the makers and actors.

Later, he also uploaded a picture on his Instagram handle captioning it, “3 DAYS AWAY!”

The movie which will release in theatres soon is among the awaited movie of 2022. Director Ayan Mukherji told that the concept of Brahmastra came to his mind when he was filming for YJHD in snow mountains in the year 2012. Ayan has put a lot of effort into this project and he believes it will be worth it. Besides being a most desirable project, this is also the most expensive film made in our country. Its budget is around 400 crores and the movie is releasing on almost 8000 screens, the highest ever coverage for the Hindi movie.

Also, the bookings are in full swing indicating a healthy run at the Box office. Brahmastra tickets are selling like hotcakes and the movie will release soon in two days. It is slated to release in theatres on 9th September in multiple languages.
