Let’s dig inside the script to explore the gist of the movie.

The story of Zed Plus deals with modern India is a small town based in Rajasthan. The movie portrays a coalition government, which is pitted by the issues of communalism and corruption and it is about to collapse due to infightings of its coalition partners. Despite all efforts by the ministers in power to save the government, it seems to fall down. During this political turmoil, the prime minister of the country gets a phone call from one of the coalition partners who cater him the right solution. This comes in the form of visiting a Dargah who is popularly called as the Peepal Wale Peer Ki Dargah based in Fatehpur. Finally, the prime minister agrees to pay a visit to the shrine offering the chaddar over the said tomb to get the solution. During his visit, the entire town comes into life and when he finally visits this city for the Chaddar, he meets a common man called Aslam who happens to be a puncture wala. This follows a strange kind of conversation between the two, which eventually brings in the buzz in the country as the PM of the country orders a Zed security to this puncture wala guy. Now, what goes after this movie is an interesting tale to follow about a common man getting such a high profile security.

Now, let’s talk about the performances. The script seems good making the movie a satire on a serious issue, which the politicians often end up playing with it. However, the actors who are seen stealing the show is Adil Hussain who has played the character of Puncture wala. He is an ace actor with good acting skills and is certainly known for performing the best ways in the past and Zed Plus was no exception. Similar is the performance of Mona Singh, who has come a long way from TV serials land a number of movies. Her performance in the movie in the role of Hameeda (Aslam’s Wife) is fantastic and worth watching. The others too did the justice as politicians in the failing government or in the character of Prime Minister are applauding as well. The script is strong and entertaining, which gives too less loo break as well.
