YRKKH actor Mayank Arora aka Kairav talks about his exit from the show

Star Plus’ popular daily soap YRKKH is witnessing ups and downs in the lives of lead characters Abhi and Akshu. Amid the high-voltage drama in the show, Mayank Arora, aka Kairav of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has made an exit from the show. This would be shocking for all his fans as the actor was loved by the audience for his role of a highly protective and supportive brother.

Apart from Mayank, the show has already seen the exit of many other characters from this longest-running TV show. Before Mayank, Sharan Anandani (Vansh) and Paras Priyadarshan (Neil) also left the show. So what could be the reason behind Kairav’s exit?

Mayank Arora talked about quitting the show after being a part of it for quite some time. Taking to his Instagram story, the actor shared a post confirming his exit, which left his fans surprised. Everyone was guessing as to why he abruptly decided to leave the show. However, the actor has already addressed the issue with a news outlet.

He stated that it was a mutual understanding. His character, Kairav, was significant in the show. It was a strong role but had certain problems. He also said that the entire cast will be missed, especially Harshad Chopda (Abhimanyu) and Pranali Rathod (Akshara).

Speaking about his journey in YRKKH as Kairav, the actor said that he loved the simplicity and sincerity of his character. He explored various emotions while playing the role and particularly enjoyed playing his character’s mental breakdown scene in the show.

He said that he is eager to take on new projects and wishes to explore films and series.
