Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame Anurag Sharma married his longtime girlfriend Nandini Gupta in Delhi on Friday. The wedding celebrations began on January 29 with a turmeric and mehndi ceremony, followed by a ring ceremony the following day.
During the turmeric ceremony, the couple looked quite happy with each other in yellow dresses and Nandini was seen applying turmeric to the groom’s face. The ring ceremony was inspired by a Catholic wedding, with the bride wearing a white gown and the groom wearing a tuxedo suit.
On the wedding day, Anurag wore a cream-colored sherwani while Nandini wore a red colored lehenga. She also became emotional and tearful while walking towards the pavilion.
Anurag said, “There is still no feeling of being married. I have known Nandini for five years now and we are good friends. In fact, it seems that my best friend is now my wife. The wedding was fun, as we spent quality time with family and friends. “
