Yash Raj Films, Mohit Suri unveil intense love saga Saiyaara, set for global theatrical release on July 18, 2025
Yash Raj Films (YRF) is set to creatively collaborate with renowned romance director Mohit Suri for an upcoming love story titled Saiyaara. This film marks the first production under the leadership of the company’s CEO, Akshaye Widhani.The highly anticipated romantic film, Saiyaara, introduces two new talents to the Hindi film industry—Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. It is scheduled for a global theatrical release on July 18, 2025.Presented by Aditya Chopra and directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara is being promoted as an intense love story, bringing together YRF and Mohit Suri for the first time, both of whom are known for their significant successes in the romance genre.
Reports indicate that much of the film was shot in 2024, with a notable music festival sequence filmed in February 2025 at Vrundavan Studios in Malad, Mumbai. During this sequence, Ahaan Panday was seen performing on stage, captivating the crowd, and even jumping into the audience to further engage them. Aneet Padda, who previously appeared in the OTT series Big Girls Don’t Cry (2024), also participated in this vibrant scene.The announcement of Saiyaara has sparked excitement for several reasons. The title pays homage to a memorable song from YRF’s 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger.
