Hero starring the newbie like Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty is back in news for shifting its release date from July to September. As per reports, Salman who has ventured this film, which is basically a remake of the 1984 film Hero starring Jackie Shroff has pushed the date of release from 3rd July to 25th September. If you check the reasons why Sallu has done is only due to the fact that this actor wants to release Hero only after his forthcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s release, which is slated to be released in Eid 2015.
As per the official statement of the production company, Amar Butala the CEO of the group said that the date has been shifted only to get a better release window in the said dates of September. However, this is not the only reason why the movie is postponed. The reason why Salman doesn’t want to release in July is due to the sacred of month of Ramzan. As per the officials, many people in this month refrain from watching any movie especially the ones from Muslim community. This will therefore hamper the collection a lot.
The dates after Ramzan is often a right time to release especially if it is coming from Salman. In fact, Salman Khan has blocked the dates of Eid since so many years and also in the forthcoming year as well along with the current one with Bajrangi Bhaijaan. If you remember 2014, it was Kick, which was released during Eid that really made huge collection at box office.
