Review : Chal Bhaag is a blend of engaging action and fun, which embarks from a debut banner called Alimoh Films. It can be even called as a comic slap over the fake police encounters, which sticks to the duty of simply performing snaky twist and seen turning backed by certain delightful performances. The story is all about three people Munna, aspiring don- Bunty and the street guy Daler, which are being played by Deepak Dobrival, Tarun Bajaj and Varun Mehra respectively. All the three are seen landing up in a Jail for their own different reasons and to their shock they are booked for the crime (murder case of an MLA), which they have not even committed.

With the upcoming death penalty for their so called alleged crime, the trio are seen tricking the police and take shelter in Kajari’s house played by Keeya Khanna and then decide to uncover the dirty face of the police department. This simply ends up their encounter with crime, police and politics, which is the ultimate crux of the movie. Though the theme of the movie sounds serious yet the director – Prakash Saini seems to have treaded a humorous path. You can find the movie going light and pacy especially when the three met up in the jail. In Chal Bhag the director seems shifting from the corny sensationalism to the entertaining escapism. Though the movie seems to have been produced for laughter and fun yet its theme to show corrupt police department gives reasons to have a social angle.

The narration of Prakash Saini seems to be blunt and simple keeping things to the point for his audience at most of the time in the movie. He has taken the help of his writers to find time to have fun and then revert to the serious note. Deepak Dobriyal seems to be good in playing his character, while Keeya Khanna too can be said par the expectations of the audience. However Varun Mehra who happens to be a raw talent will take time to mature in his acting skills, lastly Tarun seems to be good. The character of cops being played by Yashpal Sharma and Mukesh Tiwari seems to be adding the spice of Delhi in the movie, while the dialogues in the movie coming in Haryanvi and NCR accent seems to be cool. Sanjay Mishra in his cameo role seems incredible.

Talking about the darker shades of the movie, it seems to have suffering from the popular B-Town clichés wherein you can find things happening as per the convenience of the director ruining a couple of scenes in the movie. The theme of the movie seems to be serious, however, the humour path the director has chosen seems too weird to imagine. Yet if you are looking for a fun with gun and a blend of serious and humour elements catching up Chal Bhaag can be a good choice.
