What! BTS’ J-Hope Issued a Stern Warning by New Friend Justin Timberlake
J-Hope initially didn't understand the warning, but once the staff clarified it, he began to giggle.

Fans recently got a behind-the-scenes glimpse at J-Hope of BTS’s incredible performance at Lollapalooza Berlin, and it was undoubtedly unexpected. BANGTANTV, BTS’s official YouTube channel, released a new episode on Wednesday called “J- Hope @Lollapalooza Berlin 2025.” The singer’s experience and time at the festival were covered in the episode. Additionally, J-Hope met IVE, Gracie Abrams, and Justin Timberlake, who humorously warned the singer.
The BTS member was spotted enjoying himself in the episode the day before he performed at Justin Timberlake’s gig. Naturally, he made sure to meet the singer backstage. During his introduction, J-Hope proudly stated that he is a member of the same band as Jungkook, with whom Justin collaborated on the song “3D.” Justin recognized J-Hope right away, greeted him, and discussed their mutual passion for cuisine.
Justin later requested that J-Hope exchange their phone numbers, and J-Hope gladly complied. When Justin jokingly suggested that he would soon be receiving prank calls from J-Hope, who was spotted entering his number into his phone, J-Hope only responded that he felt “honored” that the singer wanted to trade numbers. “Be careful though, ’cause I’m gonna prank call you,” Justin said.
J-Hope initially didn’t understand the warning, but once the staff clarified it, he began to giggle.
Following the release of the video, viewers shared their admiration for the adorable exchange between the celebrities.
In addition to his encounter with Justin Timberlake, the program followed J-Hope’s development from rehearsals and performance preparation to his onstage appearance and festival headline. On Day 2 of Lollapalooza Berlin, he wowed the crowd with a 21-song set that included a spirited rendition of his most recent single, “Killin’ It Girl,” featuring GloRilla. The effort, commitment, and hard work that J-Hope put into the performance were all recorded in the episode.
For the unknowable, all of BTS’s members have completed their required military service. Previously, it was announced that the group will return in the spring of 2026 with a brand-new album, for which they are currently in Los Angeles. The surprise announcement was made during an impromptu 30-minute Weverse livestream that included every member. In a joint statement, BTS announced that they would be releasing a new album in the spring of next year. “All seven of us will start collaborating together on new songs in July. Alongside the new record, we’re also organizing a global tour,” it continued.
