Web series is making the ace of the hour and things are getting even confirmed with a number of Bollywood popular faces entering the web world. Even the cross platform actors are willingly entering the web world finding it a really challenging and futuristic platform to intrigue audiences. The popular Bengali actor, Jisshu Sengupta is the next aced actor who is all set to make his digital debut with the much talked first of its kind sci-fi, web series led by ZEE5, Skyfire.

The actor feels pretty overwhelmed with the thought of entering the web space with Skyfire and talking on the same, he shared his views on a media platform mentioning web is the future, “I believe two years down the line, this medium is here to stay. Web series is the future and I would love to be a part of it. Mumbai is a hub of talent and web has given these talented people a platform. The web will be the only platform which will be seen worldwide.”

Excited to be screened with first of its kind sci-fi web series, Skyfire, he added, “It was great to be a part of it. Long back, I heard the story from the director and wanted to be part of it. Later, I got from the producer and she told me the story. I said to her that I heard the script before. I immediately agreed to do it. This is my first science fiction and that was the major reason to say yes to the series.”

Anticipations are pretty high on the globing interest of audiences with Skyfire and this infuses even more excitement in the cast working in the series. Adding to his last statements, Jisshu mentioned, “I am a director’s actor. I don’t force anything on myself. I go on set and go with the flow.”

Skyfire is set to release on 22nd May.
