After the release of two big films of 2015 – Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani, the film Wazir has hit the theaters after three long weeks. The film despite having a decent buzz in the media and getting positive reviews failed to translate much on the first day. The film starring Big B, Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Roy Hydari started with occupancy of 15 percent occupancy all across the multiplexes. The morning shows have witnessed a lesser amount of collection, however, higher than the releases of Big B like Piku and Shamitabh. As the day went on to become the dusk, the occupancy rate seemed boosting up.
With a decent amount of screen counts covering all the major parts of the country, Wazir ended up with not that big figure though, yet it recorded with a decent collection. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Wazir tolled to around 6 crores, which is actually a good collection for day one. The trade pundits expect a surge in the coming first weekend of the film release considering the positive vibe which is to be created for the film due to a decent word of mouth buzz in the media and among audience.
Given the fact that there is hardly any release this day except the social drama movie Chauranga with no star value, Wazir is likely to get any big competition. Even the big movies released during the Christmas eve has not much to collect since it has reached to its peak with a figure of 170 plus collection for both. So, Wazir is likely to soar in the coming two days. Let’s see how things unfold for the film.
