Vivek Agnihotri Returns with The Kashmir Files after Tashkent Files

kashmir files

Vivek Agnihotri the Tashkent Files fame director is back in the news as he comes up with yet another film for next year called The Kashmir Files. He has registered the title for the same and is likely to make a return on I-Day 2020 release. The makers have even unveiled the first look poster of the film and it talks about the killings of Kashmiri Pandits, which is regarded as the largest ethnic cleansing, which we have ever witnessed in our country.

The makers released the first look poster of their upcoming movie in a special launching event. The makers have responded to the appeal of PM Modi after revoking Article 370 and asked the filmmakers to make films in Kashmir freely without any fear or prejudice. Hence considering his appeal, Vivek Agnihotri was first to act and soon booked a title for the same. Thus the film would be entirely shot in Kashmir and it will have real-time locations like Martand Sun Temple and Shankaracharya Temple along with a number of other key locations.

The film is likely to have one of the best star cast and it will be produced by Vivek Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi like they have done earlier before this. Also, as per reports, the makers are going to crowdsource research and approach real people with real stories in the film. Talking about the same, the director said that this aspect of the state has remained unreported, which is to be shared with this film. He said his entire idea is to throw light on a history that has been removed.
