Vijay Deverakonda reacts to the ‘boycott Liger movie’ twitter trend, here’s what he said!

After Aamir Khan’s “Laal Singh Chaddha,” Puri Jagannadh’s next film, “Liger,” was the latest movie to be the subject of a boycott trend on Twitter. Due to Karan Johar’s involvement, the majority of people are boycotting the movie.

The film’s lead actor, Vijay Deverakonda, responded to the same during a press conference in Vijayawada by saying that they began production on the project in 2019 when there was no such trend and were well into the shooting schedules by 2020. The actor claims that at the time they believed Karan Johar was the best choice to distribute their film all across India.

He led us into North India, which was uncharted ground for them, using Baahubali. They wrote the script and produced it. According to Vijay, who was quoted by the Indian Express, when they asked the Bollywood director to release the film in Hindi, he enthusiastically agreed. As a result, they now have a tremendous following in the North.

The South actor continued by saying that he was fearless because they had given their all to the production. When you are correct, Vijay believes there is no need to listen to anyone else. He claims that they are all citizens of this nation and are aware of the great things they do for their community and nation. They are not from the group of people, Vijay continued, who tweet while sitting in front of a computer.

‘Liger’ is a pan-India film which stars Vijay and Ananya Panday in lead roles. It is slated to hit the theatres on August 25, 2022.
