Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri’s next romantic comedy is titled ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam
Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions unveiled a new project starring Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri three months ago. However, the title of the film has not been released. The title of the film was finally announced today by the filmmakers. ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’ is the title of the romantic comedy.
According to the report by Pinkvilla, the film’s title is based on a popular song featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Sonali Bendre “The title has a meaning to the subject, which one would know as the makers begin to roll out the promotional assets. The makers got the idea of this title taking cue from the lyrics of an iconic Shah Rukh Khan song – Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam – from Duplicate,”
According to the report, the film is about a love triangle between three main characters played by Vicky, Tripti, and Ammy. Anand Tiwari directs the film, which also includes Amy Virk as an actor and singer. Interestingly, this is Vicky Kaushal’s second project under Anand Tiwari’s direction. Vicky had previously appeared in Anand’s directorial debut, ‘Love per Square Foot,’ with Angira Dhar.

‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’ is set to hit theatres on August 25, 2023. Vicky will appear in another romantic comedy helmed by Laxman Utekar, in addition to Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam. In the untitled film, he will co-star with Sara Ali Khan. According to latest media reports, makers are planning to release the film on 2 June, but there has not been an official confirmation about the same from the makers yet.
