Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma to come together again for Their Hindi remake?

Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan first appeared on screen together in the social drama “Sui Dhaga.” The movie received favourable reviews from reviewers and went on to become a box office success, earning Rs. 125 crore worldwide.

Now as per latest media reports, Varun and Anushka are ready to once again share screen space together. As per latest reports by PeepingMoon, Anushka Sharma will be paired opposite Varun Dhawan in the upcoming Hindi film produced by Atlee Kumar. One of the two starring females, Anushka, has been cast; casting for the other leading lady is currently ongoing. Janhvi Kapoor was reportedly in talks with the producers for the female role, but she reportedly declined, citing scheduling conflicts. Anushka was then presented with this movie, and she accepted it right away because she liked the script. After the last conversation with Atlee in June, she is anticipated to sign the contract.

Anushka, Varun, or anyone connected to the project have not made an official statement about it. As per media reports, the film will go on floors in August. Tamil filmmaker Kalees, who has previously helmed the Jiiva-starrer 2019 techno-thriller Kee, will direct this film.

For the unversed, it was reported that the film is a remake of Atlee Kumar’s 2016 action entertainer Theri. The film was a huge box office hit and minted Rs. 150 crore at worldwide box office.

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma will be next seen in sports biopic Chakda Xpress which is gearing up to premiere on Netflix later this year. The film is inspired by the journey of Indian female fast bowler Jhulan Goswami.

On the other hand, Varun Dhawan will be next seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial venture ‘Bawaal’ where he will be seen sharing screen with Janhvi Kapoor. The film is slated to be released on 6 October 2023.
