One of the top TV series in India is The Kapil Sharma Show. The show is presented by comic Kapil Sharma, who is joined by a number of other gifted comics to provide the audience with an exhilarating fun ride.
Many Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt, have been on this show numerous times. Aamir Khan is the only prominent Bollywood star who is yet to appear on this programme.
The Mr. Perfectionist Of Bollywood, attended the trailer launch of Gippy Grewal’s upcoming Punjabi film, Carry On Jatta 3, in Mumbai, where he was joined by comedian Kapil Sharma. At the event, Aamir revealed that he has become Kapil’s fan. Also, he complained to the comedian for not inviting to his show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
Aamir said, “I called Kapil just 2-3 weeks back. Main aaj kal kaam kam kar raha hoon. Family ke saath zyada hoon. Every night, I like seeing comedy before going to sleep. For the past many months, I see Kapil’s show. I have become his huge fan. You must have noticed that my smile was the widest when he came on stage!”
While praising Kapil Sharma, Aamir said, “Meri itni shaamon ko inhone rangeen banaya hai. Hence, I called and thanked him for entertaining people. Logon ka dil behlana bahut bada kaam hai(making someone happy is a big thing to do). I am happy to see you here. I am one of your biggest fans, Kapil.”
Aamir then complained, “Aapne mujhe show pe nahin bulaya. Yeh galat baat hai! Isse pehle ki yeh puche, main hi bol deta hoon. Kapil se ek kadam aage hoon main! (You didn’t invite me to your show. Before you could I ask, I only asked you, I am one step forward from Kapil Sharma).”

After this, Kapil Sharma hugs Aamir Khan and reveals, “It would be our good fortune to have you on our show. I have always met him in the crowd and have always requested him to come to our show. But he used to say that he is going somewhere and will meet once he is back and then we meet after 3 years.” To this, Aamir replies, “I just want to come to entertain and not for any film promotions.”
Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, helmed by Advait Chandan. The film, which is a remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan. But the film failed at the box office.
