Wiki : Urvashi Rautela is a tall name in modelling world, who also happens to be an actress of Bollywood apart from being an actress in the South Indian movies. She was born in Kotdwara, Uttarakhand on 25^th of February 1994. She did her education from Uttrakhand only and later when she entered in her college, she got the chance to do modelling, which made her known in the glamour world. Her childhood went in the training of different dance style, which according to her, she has learnt five different dance forms including Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Belly Dance, Hip Hop and Jazz. Apart from being active in art and culture, she was also known as a basketball player and has participated in this sports at the national level.

She started her career in modelling starting with Wills Lifestyle Indian Fashion Week followed by the Lakme Fashion Week held in 2011. This then gave her a good amount of brands coming in her way for the modelling assignments. She was seen in a number of Print and TV ads for brands like Lakmé Cosmetics, Bhima Gold, Ozel Lifestyle, Grasim, LG, Levi’s and Grohe before she actually participated in Miss World Pageant. In 2009, she was crowned as Miss Teen India, which was mentored by Diana Hayden. She later went to participate in Miss World Pageant and was able to get the title as well, however, was dethroned due to underage.

Urvashi Rautela later participated in other world titles including Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International held the same year in 2011 in China and won the same. Also, she was successful in securing another title of Miss Asian Super Model in 2011 in South Korea followed by winning the Indian Princess 2011, and not to forget the Miss Teen India 2009. Her performance in winning a number of titles have been consistent till she got the offer from Bollywood at the age of 18 a movie called Singh Saab The Great opposite the Dhai Kilo Hath actor – Sunny Deol. It turned an average movie giving a debut in acting world in the B Town. She later was seen in Yo Yo Honey Singh’s international video album called “Lovedose” which was released in October 2014. Currently she has signed a South Indian movie, wherein she will be seen in the main leads called Airavata, which happens to be an action love story in opposite to Darshan Thoogudeep. Her upcoming movies include Sanam.
