Lockdown Effects: Pathan, Adipurush and Tiger 3 Shoots Hampered
As the second wave of COVID 19 is damaging the state, the CM Mr. Uddhav Thackeray announced a strict lockdown, the first to get its impact was school, colleges, hotels, malls and film shootings at various places. He also imposed Section 144 amidst the growing cases of COVID 19 in the states and in Mumbai to break the chain of soaring cases. This has caused many makers to announce a hold on their big budget movies.
There were a couple of films in this category that are seen getting on hold including the Yash Raj Films produced movies like Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead roles along with Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. That’s not all, even the film Adipurush starring South Indian star Prabhas is also getting on hold for this very reason. Even the other films like Dongri to Dubai starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon.
Similarly the other shootings whether for the big or small budget films, are certainly going to hamper and so is the release date of many movies have come to doldrums. We have already seen how the movies like the cop drama film – Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan’s Radhe are now going to miss their release due to the uncertain lockdown posed by the CM.
