TV hero’s day plan for their sister on Rakhi Festival

VISHAL SINGH: My fondest memory of rakhi is of eight years ago when my sister tied me rakhi in person. After that she had to send rakhies by courier because I live in Mumbai for work. This time I am planning to go to Lucknow to create another rakhi memory.

MOHAMMAD NAZIM: In our Muslim culture, we don’t have separate rakhi celebrations. I really wish there should be a day dedicated to brother-sister relationship. I like the ceremonies when a sister ties rakhi to her brother and he vows to protect her. Of course, I have played it on screen and thoroughly loved it. On the rakhi day, many cast and crew members could not meet their sisters and some get the rakhis delivered by post or couriers, so we celebrate it regardless of religions and cultures.

HIMMANSHOO MALHOTRA: Every year my first cousin sends me rakhi from Delhi. Whenever we meet, I gift her some things of her choice. As all the sisters, she loves me unconditionally. She was with me when we won Nach Baliye and lifted the trophy as though it was the most amazing thing. This year, if I get a chance, I will go back to Delhi and give her gifts in person. If not, then she will courier me and I will send the gifts she loves.

ANSHUL PANDEY: This Rakhi again it shall be a sweet sister or brother moment over the phone because she is in Delhi and me in Mumbai. This year though am really excited because I shall be receiving a rakhi as promised by her which would be her own design. She’s a designer so yes, this Rakhi experience would be a different one.

ANKIT GERA: This rakhi is very special to me because every year I used to send gifts to my sister to Canada but this year she is coming in Mumbai. So after a long time we will celebrate rakhi together. I have got a surprise for her. Obviously, I will not reveal that.

ABHINAV KAPOOR: Rakhi for me is a day where the whole family gets together. The vibe is awesome and positive. smiling faces all around. Bailey is my 2 year old new sister. And the only day me and my sisters bailey (pet dog) and akshita sit  next to each other without fighting. Baikey also sits and ties rakhi to me.
