Dangal Declared the biggest blockbuster of decade & Bajrangi Bhaijaan bags second place
Both Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have been the king of Box office not just in India but also abroad. Whenever there is a film release from these actors, it has bagged huge in terms of collections. Some of the films of these actors have even touched the hearts of global audience making them big in terms of worldwide box office collection. Now, we hear that the films – Dangal starring Aamir Khan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan starring Salman Khan have been declared the biggest blockbusters of the decade.
As per the recent list released by Yahoo India called Year in Review List, Aamir Khan’s Dangal has topped the race followed by Salman Khan’s film Bajrangi Bhaijaan released the same year. Dangal was released in 2016 and it has bagged a huge collection all across the world crossing even the 2000 crores at the box office beating Baahubali. The film is based on the life of a wrestler who makes his daughters (Phogat sisters) the winner in wrestling.
The film was directed by Nitesh Tiwari who has recently given Chhichore with Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor. The Salman Khan starrer film Bajrangi Bhaijan by Kabir Khan as its director has remained in the second position. The film also had the child actor Harshaali Malhotra, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The films of Aamir and Salman Khan have done well overseas which include Dhoom 3, 3 Idiots, and PK for the former, while Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Dabangg for the latter. The other films that did well include Sanju, Chennai Express and War.
