Tusshar Kapoor is a known actor of B Town, who has appeared in a number of Bollywood movies. He comes from a influential family of Tinsel Town. His father Jeetendra is a known actor of Bollywood who was very much popular in the era of seventies and eighties. His father has ruled the hearts of many fans both India and abroad, while his sister Ekta Kapoor is a known producer and owner of Balaji Telefilms, which is one of the popular production house of TV serials and Bollywood movies. He was born and brought in Mumbai, after doing his schooling and junior college, he headed to University of Michigan to learn filmmaking and acting. He is still single and thus happens to be the most eligible bachelor in B Town.
Now talking about his career, after returning to India, he headed to Bollywood and did his debut movie called Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai in the year 2001 along with Kareena Kapoor. The movie was a big hit for which he was even applauded with Filmfare Award under the best debut category. However, his next two movies turned out flop at box office despite he worked along with his father in one of these movies called Kucch To Hai in 2003. The next venture was Gayab in the year 2004 wherein he played the character of an invisible boy, which applauded. Later he was seen in Khakee along with Big B, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar for which he was applauded critically playing a the role of a young police officer called Ashwin Gupte. His second big hit over box office was his own sister’s venture called Kyaa Kool Hai Hum in 2005, which he did along with Riteish Deshmukh.
Later he was in the multi-starrer comedy of Rohit Shetty called Golmaal wherein he played the character of a mute guy, which was applauded by both audience and critics. Some of his other movies include Good Boy Bad Boy, Kya Love Story Hai, Shootout at Lokhandwala, and the two sequels of Golmal. His movies like Aggar, Dhol, Kya Super Cool Hai Hum, and Bajate Raho were below average, which simply failed to bring any difference over the box office. His upcoming movie is Mastizaade, which he will be doing along with Sunny Leone. Apart from acting, he is also venturing as a co-producer for the movie called Char Din Ki Chandni wherein he is also seen as an actor in the film. Besides he also keeps on participating in different social causes including the Fashion For a Cause event in 2012 for raising money for orphan kids.
