Tunisha Sharma Case: Mukesh Khanna blames parents of young girls who send them to work in the industry
On December 24, Tunisha Sharma committed suicide in the makeup room of her rumoured boyfriend and co-star Sheezan Khan. The last rites of the actress were held in the city yesterday. Everyone including her friends and family was present at her funeral. Some people are giving their statements on this; even veteran actor Mukesh Khanna has given his take on the situation. He has advised the parents of young girls.
Mukesh Khanna shared a social media video for parents of young girls. He has asked parents to be careful whose girls work in TV, films, and the OTT industry. He said that they send their children to TV because they think they are talented. The actor believes that all these things are being done by children of teenage age. He talked about how people will blame someone n anyone and in Tunisha’s case, it is Sheezan Khan.
He further added how people who knew Tunisha Sharma would mourn her diagnosis and continue with their lives and any other girl would do the same. He blamed the TV industry for how actors and actresses work day and end of the night. He told the parents of young girls how they can send their daughters to the TV industry at a young age.
Adding his point further, he said that girls are very emotional but not boys. Girls are emotionally attached to that person and trust them easily. Advice to parents whose children work in the industry to know what is going on around them, and who is their friends so that their children will not take such drastic steps.
He also talked about love jihad and said that since Sheezan has Khan as his surname, people are also calling it Love Jihad.
