Trailer of Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s Dhadak 2 to Launch on July 11 in Mumbai

National crush Triptii Dimri had a successful year in 2024 with her performances in Bad Newz and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Now, she is gearing up for her next film, Dhadak 2, which is set to release in less than a month. According to Bollywood Hungama, the trailer for the film will be unveiled in just one week.
A trade source revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “The trailer for Dhadak 2 will launch on Friday, July 11. The filmmakers plan to host a grand event in Mumbai, attended by the film’s stars, including Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi, along with producer Karan Johar, director Shazia Iqbal, and others. Following the trailer release, promotional activities will kick off, including the debut of the film’s songs.”
In an exclusive report, Bollywood Hungama also noted that the trailer for Son Of Sardaar 2 will be released on the same day, July 11. The trade source added, “It promises to be an exciting day for the media and fans alike as they watch these stars unveil their films’ trailers. The Son Of Sardaar 2 event is expected to occur first, followed by Dhadak 2. More details will emerge in the coming days.”
In the meantime, moviegoers visiting multiplexes will encounter standees of Dhadak 2. Interestingly, the poster featured on these standees has not yet been released online, making it an exclusive treat for theater audiences.
Originally scheduled for release on November 22, 2024, Dhadak 2 was later pushed to Holi 2025. In February 2025, Bollywood Hungama first reported that the film faced challenges at the Censor Board. However, in May, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) approved the film with a U/A 16+ certificate, albeit with several cuts. Following this approval, the filmmakers confirmed the release date.
Dhadak 2 is set to hit theaters on August 1 and is backed by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions, and Cloud 9 Pictures. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Meenu Aroraa, Somen Mishra, and Pragati Deshmukh.
