Trailer for ‘Binny and Family’ to Premiere Exclusively in Cinemas with Stree 2 Before Digital Release

The Indian film industry is abuzz with excitement as it prepares for the release of Stree 2, Vedaa, and Khel Khel Mein on Independence Day. Following these highly anticipated films, another significant release on the horizon is Binny And Family, which marks the debut of Anjini Dhawan, Varun Dhawan’s niece, under the Newcomers Initiative. The film’s poster, unveiled last month, has received a warm reception from audiences.

Recent reports indicate that the theatrical trailer for Binny And Family will be attached to the prints of Stree 2, produced by Dinesh Vijan and featuring stars like Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi. Producer Mahaveer Jain confirmed this exciting news in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama. He expressed gratitude towards Dinesh Vijan for allowing the trailer to be showcased alongside the much-anticipated Stree 2, stating, “This gesture means a lot to us and the entire team of Binny And Family. Stree 2 is set to attract a massive audience, and having our trailer seen by so many people will significantly increase awareness for our film. Additionally, the trailer will also be included with Stree 2 prints overseas. Typically, trailers are first released digitally before appearing in theaters a day later.

However, Jain revealed a special approach: The trailer will be exclusively launched in cinemas alongside Stree 2 and will then be released on digital platforms. Binny And Family is slated for a theatrical release on August 30. Alongside Anjini Dhawan, the cast includes Pankaj Kapur, Himani Shivpuri, Rajesh Kumar, Naman Tripaathy, and Charu Shankar. The film is written and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy and produced by Mahaveer Jain Films and Wavebrand Productions, with presentation by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, Shashank Khaitan, and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Early test screenings have reportedly garnered unanimous positive feedback, boosting the morale of the entire team.
