Total Dhamaal Enters 100 Crore Club

The Indra Kumar’s adventure comedy called Total Dhamaal is going great guns at the box office. Despite the release of the films like Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon Luka Chuppi and Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi starrer Sonchiriya, it seemed to have gone unbeatable at the box office. In fact, the film has entered the 100 Crore club at the box office reaching its collection in the second weekend as 117 crores. The film is known to have ensemble star cast with Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Ajaj Devgn and others in it that seemed to have attracted the audience in huge number.

On Friday, the film scored 4.75 Crores, while on Saturday it jumped to a higher figure getting into the 100 Crore Club. The second Sunday was massive for the film as it bagged 11.45 Crore, which made the collection reach to 117.77 Crores. The trade pundit Taran Adarsh was quick to update on the microblogging site when he kept the figures stating that the film gained 94.55 Cr in the first week, while in the second weekend it scored 23.22 Crores, which made the collection 117.77 Crores.

The film Total Dhamaal happens to be the third instalment of the franchise Dhamaal, which had the old team with Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, and Ritesh Deshmukh along with the newly added stars like Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Ajaj Devgn. However, Sanjay Dutt was seen missing in this third series of the famous franchise, perhaps with the presence of Madhuri Dixit in it. The film was produced a slew of production companies including Fox Star Studios, Ajay Devgn Films, Sri Adhikari Brothers, Ashok Thakeria, Sangeet Ahir, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Anand Pandi. The film was released on 22nd Feb.
