We heard enough about the biopic of Rakesh Sharma called Saara Jaahan Se Accha in the past few weeks. We first heard that Shah Rukh Khan would be doing this film, but later he opted out since he does not want to risk experimenting another film when his previous film Zero did a bad business at the box office restricting to 89 Crores. Similarly, we heard a slew of other actors who were supposed to take up this lead role including Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan and Rajkummar Rao but slowly and steadily as time passed, we came to know that none of these actors is doing this film.
Now, as time passed, there are reports that confirm that Ranbir Kapoor has been confirmed to play the role of the astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s character. The Sanju actor has also given his consent for the film, which is produced by Ronnie Screwala along with Siddharth Roy Kapur. So, its now confirmed that the Rockstar actor Ranbir would be seen in the lead role of the film. In fact, the makers also have confirmed about the same though the official announcement is yet to be made in the media.
Earlier talking about the film, the producer Ronnir Screwala said that he is not sharing any details of the film at this moment as things are not been finalised. It all started with Aamir Khan who was supposed to do this film in the lead role; however, the Thugs of Hindostan actor had to opt out for his magnum opus – Mahabharata in which he is playing the role of Krishna. He then recommended Shah Rukh Khan to do this film. Earlier SRK accepted the film thanking Aamir but with his film’s debacle made him reconsider the decision and opt out from the film.
