It is Friday, and you have two movies hitting the theatre including Piku and Kuch Kuch Locha Hai. Talking about Piku, the movie has one of the veterans in the film including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan. All are known for their power packed performances and have time and again proved their worth over the silver screen. So needless to say that it has a star value, as it comes with star loaded film. As expected, the movie has a decent start with occupancy reaching to 60 percent. This helped in creating a good buzz eventually garnering a good word of mouth for the film.
As per reports, Piku 1st Day Box Office Collection tolled to around 7 crores. Though the occupancy at various theatres were half in the first half and afternoon shows, however, in the evening the film was able garner a good response calling people far and wide especially at the multiplexes and even single screens at many places. Indeed the other movie releasing starring Ram Kapoor and Sunny Leone in the form of Kuch Kuch Locha Hai failed to come in its way as a hurdle. The experts are expecting a good surge in the coming weekend.
