Plot
The film revolves around a murder in which Neil Nitin Mukesh is the suspect of the cops. It has several twists and turns that would be interesting to see how Vikram played by Neil would get away with it or ends up getting hitched to the police. Well, it is exploring to catch at any of your nearby cinema.
Review
The film seems to have defied the basics of life sciences in a big way. How come a person meeting a deadly accident is on the wheelchair hale and hearty conspiring so many things with his sharp brain are interesting to explore. In a sense, the story of the film seems chaotic with the above said reason. One can find a couple of pun unintended as you sit to catch the film. Now, talking about the star performances, Neil Nitin Mukesh is a decent actor but the role he has done in his film seems somewhere mediocre. However, he has the potential of playing a good baddie and he has done so a couple of times before. On the other side, the special appearance of Adha Sharma seems to add no value, while Shama Sikander & Gul Panag were seen adding a little glamour quotient to the movie. In fact, they have remained neglected even by the audience. Rajit Kapur seemed going clueless and acted still good enough.
Talking about the other elements like direction, which was carried out by Niel’s brother Naman Nitin seemed to have done this film with a Sriram Raghavan hangover and that too which comes from a bad trip. We can see him mimicking so well it’s the writing that seems to lack the real punch. Naman was extensively seen following the ‘formula’ of making a Bollywood thriller but somewhere he was seen leaving his novelty behind. Talking about the music, it seems to have a good attempt by Daniel B. George for the background score, however, a major of the chunks are somewhere inspired by 80-90s situations.
Bypass Road Movie Review: The Last Word
With all said and done, the film passes through the route, which you would never like to travel when it comes to catching up a good thriller. At times it becomes difficult to differentiate whether it is a tragedy or a thriller, thanks to the week script and less of the thrill that came differently.
