Kaa Trailer: Andrea Jeremiah’s Forthcoming Survival Thriller Promises a Spine-Chilling Journey
Andrea Jeremiah, renowned for her remarkable performance in the Telugu film Saindhav, is gearing up for her upcoming Tamil film, Kaa. The makers recently released the trailer, giving audiences a glimpse of what to expect. Directed by Nanjil, Kaa is scheduled to hit theaters on March 29.
In Kaa, Andrea takes on the role of a wildlife photographer. She shares the screen with the late Salim Ghouse, who portrays the antagonist. The trailer depicts Andrea Jeremiah’s character navigating through a wild forest, entangled in a series of mysterious deaths, and fighting to survive. Meanwhile, Salim Ghouse’s character attempts to eliminate her in order to conceal the orchestrated murders. Packed with suspense, the 1.15-minute trailer promises a gripping crime story.
Production for Kaa commenced in 2018, and after extensive shooting and post-production efforts, the film is finally set to release after almost five years. The cast of Kaa includes Andrea Jeremiah, Salim Ghouse, Marimuthu, Lamalesh, Akshita, Naveen, Moonar Subramanian, and Arjun Singh. Sundar C Babu has composed the music for the film.
Andrea Jeremiah’s plate is full with several upcoming projects. She is working on Pisasu 2, No Entry, a film with Bobby Antony, and an untitled project directed by Dinesh Selvaraj.
Her acting career took off with her involvement in theatre, notably in Girish Karnad’s play Nagamandala. She gained early recognition by appearing in a Leo Coffee advertisement in 2006 alongside actor Shiva, as well as in a television serial that aired on the Podhigai channel. Andrea has showcased her talent across India in various capacities.
In 2005, Andrea made a brief appearance towards the end of the film Kanda Naal Mudhal. Her journey in films and music took a significant turn when she sang a song in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Impressed by her talent, Menon offered her one of the female lead roles in his next film, Pachaikili Muthucharam.
