Did you know THESE TV serials were inspired by international shows?

The Indian television industry has presented us with a lot of TV serials with different concepts over the years, especially in the last few years. There are such serials that we cannot compare or expect with the current shows. They have created a place in the hearts of the audience that can never be erased. While some succeeded in entertaining people, others did not.

But did you know that many TV serials are inspired by international television serials? So here is a list of some shows that are foreign adaptations.

TV serials:

 Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi

The popular 2014 Colors TV show was inspired by the British TV series Wuthering Heights. Radhika Mandan and Shakti Arora were playing lead roles in the show.

Sumit Sambhal Lega

It was inspired by the popular American television comedy series Everybody Loves Raymond. The show stars Namit Das The lead actors are Mansi Parekh and Bharti Achrekar.

Badi Doooor Se Aaye Hai

This popular comedy show, which used to be telecast on Sony SAB TV, was everyone’s favorite. This show was inspired by “The Third Rock From The Sun. 

Reporters

This Sony TV show from 2015 was everyone’s favorite at that time. Rajeev Khandelwal and Kritika Kamra starrer in the show was inspired by the popular US series The Newsroom.

Kumkum Bhagya

Zee TV’s widely watched, long-time-running show is inspired by Jane Austen’s novel Sense and Sensibility.

24

24 is the Indian remake of the popular American thriller series of the same name. Anil Kapoor played the lead role in it.
