Criminal petition against comedy king Kapil Sharma

The trouble for Kapil Sharma is growing with every passing day. Adding to his current woes, the comedy king who has hurled allegation against a BMC officer has been taken to task over Twitter. Also, one of the activists based in the town called Santosh Daundkar was also seen filing criminal case against him in the court of metropolitan magistrate court based in Andheri.

Though Kapil vented out his frustration over microblogging site – Twitter, but the tide turned against the comedian once his single floor cottage based in Versova revealed certain unauthorized extensions. After the inspection carried out by the forest department, this fact was released, which invited a number of political parties criticism including BJP, MNS and even Congress.

Some of the charges levied against the stand-up comedian suggested the violation of the section 187 of Indian Penal Code that deals with the failure to assist to any public servant. The other charges that go against him include Section 15 of Environment Protection Act 1986, which stands for the damage of mangroves and the section of 52 of the MS Regional & Town Planning Act for changing land use.
